Garnished Landscapes: Rockford, IL, Public Art Series Wants Your Photos!

RKFDnews is proud to introduce a public art series called “Garnished Landscapes” that involves you, the internet people of Rockford, IL, or wherever! We need your photos. We believe each of you are talented artists when you have a digital device in your hands. (Especially when staring at foods, liquids, clouds and yourselves.)

How to participate:
1. Send us your incredibly artistic phone photos or videos to [email protected]. By doing such, you grant us (and everyone else) to do as they wish with whatever art we create from your amazing art to share with the internet to reshare.

See our example.

Our staff reporter, Chuck Toncha, asked his wife for some nice phone photos. She sent him a winding creek and garnish from one of their vacation meals. We took Chuck’s wife’s phone photos, mashed them up with our artistic skills and made public art from them for all of you to enjoy!

Come on, Rockford, let’s make some public art for the world to see, share and litter the internet with.
