Rockford Chick-Fil-A Song Airs on Colbert Report

Rockford, IL – Willard Hunter’s beautiful tribute song to Rockford, midwest weather and chicken sandwiches made its debut on Comedy Central’s Colbert Report this week. RKFDnews debuted the Nashville singer-songwriter’s tribute to us last week, but we feel the community might be a little confused by the big words and Grammy Award winning worthy vocals.  As usual, we made the rest of the world laugh again!  Take another listen.

[1]Hunter told us by phone, “I knew those big city cats  would understand me.  I was hoping the Rockford would embrace my song as their own but maybe they don’t understand what “hypothermia” means.
