Stockholm Inn Restaurant Caught Stealing Mobility Scooters

Rockford- Stockholm Inn has been accused of stealing mobility scooters from the elderly. Worse yet, some accusations date back to 1994. A social media judge declared the restaurant guilty and sentenced them to 120 bad yelp reviews.

Stockholm Inn tweeted no contest to several charges, including Hoveround theft, Pride Travel Pro theft, and fraudulent use of a Fatty Go-Go 1000.

In one of those cases, digital police say staff of the restaurant were caught on hidden camera taking a scooters out from underneath an elderly woman, knocking her to the ground. Facebookers say one server later used that stolen Scooter to ride to the Rockford Art Deli, in scenic downtown Rockford.

Stockholm Inn has been a true gem in the Rockford eating community, especially to Rockfordians of the geriatric verity. With soft food and loud staff, the restaurant has become a popular choice for the old and decrepit.

“I can’t believe the staff at Stockholm Inn were doing this! I lost three scooters there and I was sure it was the rowdy neighborhood boys. I’m not gonna stop going their just because they steal from us. This is Rockford. You just can’t avoid that sorta thing. We have a love-hate relationship with the perpetrators of crimes against us... It’s like that condition. What’s it called? Where you start to empathize with your captors. I forget.”

said Linda Ashlock, obese local scooter enthusiast.

The Rockford Facebooking Authority will decide how harsh the 120 yelp reviews will be after brunch this Sunday. If the restaurant is too crowded, the yelp reviews will likely destroy the Swedish restaurant.
