Ice Cream Man Serves Up Twenty Two Gallons of PepperMint Chocolate Jesus
Rockford, IL – The city’s favorite ice cream man made an unexpected stop at St. Charles’ Field of Hearts Church, Inc. tonight. In honor of the holiday season, the ice cream man showed up during halftime of the Monday night prayer vigil to share his newest flavor, PepperMint Chocolate Jesus. The congregation gathered around the ice cream man and he delivered.
Lisa FaChulio, mother of three, told us, “The ice cream man topped himself. PepperMint Chocolate Jesus is exactly how I imagine my Lord to taste if He were a chocolate, peppermint, flavored ice cream! My kids loved it more than the Pink Bubblegum Virgin Mary Sundae he served us last week at church.”
PepperMint Chocolate Jesus was served in waffle cones, cups, bowls, paper plates and some optioned to have it scooped directly into their hands. A fight broke out between an angry New Orleans Saints fan and a snarky Seattle Seahawks supporter but the ice cream man stopped it before a riot broke out. Everyone in the church clapped and thanked the city’s ice cream man.
