Patty the Goose, May She Rest In Peace

Rockford, IL — Patty the Goose was one of Rockford’s favorite birds. She ate carp, fresh out of the Rock River. Pedestrians walking on the bike path considered Patty their friend. Patty the Goose hand-delivered soup to City Council meetings every Monday night. That’s where she met her fate. Fucking Rockford City Council killed her during an intermission. Everyone was enjoying free french onion soup. Patty said, “Hi, guys, I’m thirsty. Can you please pass me a cup of soup?” No one helped Patty. They ignored her pleas for soup. She died from starvation, right there at Monday night’s city council meeting. [2]
Geese crimes are out of control, and City Council needs to answer for their behaviors. Patty the Goose will be missed.[3]
