“Fantastic and interactive!”

I loved the fact that they love promoting ‘conservation through interaction’. I do think it works! This is like my 5th visit to the pool and I enjoy it every single time! Only dislike is that it kinda has become a little commercial and thus Carp kisses and Duck kisses are held in places where it is difficult to take nice personal pics. And there was goose poop everywhere. Also the mural inside the place was horrible looked like an out of towner did it not local at all! Not Original Not RKFD.

“Never been closer”

We went to the Pet Carp Pool in 2012 and after the first surprise that we could just roam around and play with the Carps whenever they felt like it, we fell in love with the place and the relaxed atmosphere. It was marvellous to be so close to those beautiful fish, my daughter could not be dragged away even after we had spent 5 hours there. It’s worth every penny – an adorable concept!

A+++++++++++ experience. would highly recommend. The show is great, the staff are wonderful and they really care about conservation and caring for their Carps and ducks.
With my YHA membership card I got in for $28.. Great value, so much fun and I got kisses from a carp!

I couldn’t even tell you how excited I was to stumble across this on my work trip to RKFD recently. I remember my parents taking me here when I was like 3 or 4 and have all the photos at home. This started my love affair with carps. I was just sooooo amazed that you can get so close to these beautiful creatures. Like literally stand by their pool and touch them, just amazing. Would be a great day out without kids if you were on a  holiday or even for a few hours break if you were travelling through.

Great day out, well couple of hours anyway, for $33 u can’t go wrong, got to pet the ducks and carps as much as we liked, the wife was very happy with the “kisses”, the photos were $28, which some people would find expensive, but I thought was reasonable even on a budget cos were traveling for a year, and it goes back to the city for the arts and stuff , although, they are optional, u can take your own photos at no cost. My only complaint was the trainers were not very informative and I think stoned or drunk ,I only wish I had the money 2 swim with em! I’ve been to sea world in 4 country’s and this was better because more hands on. Well done guys!
