Rockford SWAT Team Uncovers Broken Dreams at Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

GoldenCorral_mainRockford, IL – The RKFDP (Rockford Dream Police) sent in a SWAT team to the Golden Corral buffet restaurant on Perryville Road last night. What began as a nice team building meal for the squad turned into a table of tears by the time dessert was mentioned.

“Somewhere around our second trip through the line for more clamchowder–its amazing, have you tried it?– we started talking about our broken dreams,” said Sgt. Don Fonzilio.  “Jerry Thompson and Bill Reynolds were nibbling on their pot roast back at the table when we looked over at Paul Heineken crying. Before you know it, Brian Lothario was crying with a mouthful of meatloaf.  There went our appetites you could say.”

The SWAT team spent the remainder of their meal revealing their broken dreams, all of those dreams being local.

“I can’t believe Paul was so upset that he didn’t want a bowl of soft serve ice cream to help him feel better, ” said Officer Lothario.  “Golden Corral definitely broke our individual spirits but made us closer. We might try a different restaurant with a buffet next time.  Jerry loves Cracker Barrel.”

You will learn more when we know less.™
