Slide the City event cancelled and we could not be happier..

The feel good event of the summer Slide The City is cancelled and we here at RKFD News could not be happier. In our opinion it was too much money for the “average Rockfordian family” and the location well don’t get us started.
Can you imaging the elitist Downtownites in their beer/food tents yucking it up in one of the poorest areas of the city while children who could not afford even hotdogs that month watched….. We can and it made us sick…….
