Rockford, IL –Johnny Emerald the IIIrd is a self taught song writer, poet, and musician from Rockford, IL who also happens to live on the streets that he sings about.  Below is the newest song from Johnny, “No Jobs In Rockford Anymore“, the third release from his upcoming full-length record. Listen to it in its entirety with the previous two songs, “Symbol” and “Rockford, My Beacon of Hope (What Happened?)“.

Emerald the IIIrd’s agent and local recording producer, Zach Staas, states “that there’s a great opportunity for Johnny’s songs to be used by local colleges and bars.  Rockford Career College would be foolish not to use these beautiful songs about the city we all love in their TV and satellite radio commercials.”

We covered Johnny Emerald the IIIrd’s rise from the streets he sleeps on to the streets he sings about a few weeks ago.  Read about it here, the full story on Rockford’s next real and original star.

There is talk of this being released on vinyl, cd and as a digital download along with a fundraiser of Johnny’s choice to benefit homeless people. More soon.
