Peter Venkman Endorses Kleen and Hughes’ Mayoral Campaigns
Dr. Peter Venkman endorses Michael Kleen (Republican) and Jim Hughes (Democrat) for Rockford’s next mayor.
Rockford, IL – Dr. Peter Venkman, professional Ghostbuster, threw his endorsement hat into the 2013 Rockford Mayoral race for both Michael Kleen and Jim Hughes. Each are running for Mayor Barry Morrisson’s prized throne.
“I see great opportunities to fight crime in the Rockford, IL area and I believe that both cantidates, Michael Kleen and Jim Hughes, are capable of doing what the present mayor elect can not do–which is, track down the criminals and destroy them with my slime gun.
The current mayor can not fight crime because he does not believe in ghosts. Ghosts are running amok in the Forest City. I see them everywhere invading homes, stealing cars, robbing restaurants, gas stations, shooting doggies and cats, and running tax-payer funded city government departments and organizations. I see them and I want to help Michael and Jim by providing them my endorsement as well as my knowledge and weapons with fighting ghosts.” said Dr. Venkman.
The Republican candidate, Kleen, knows a bit about ghosts, having moved to Rockford in 2008 to track down a few before realizing that trail led to City Hall. This is what alerted Dr. Venkman to the area to begin with before deciding to help both candidates win the mayoral race and fight crime.
“I noticed that the Democrat has wonderful support from a depleted police force. The RKDP (Rockford Dream Police) knows first hand that there are ghosts running amok in the Forest City and they don’t have enough men to fight them. I want to help the RKFDP because I have the solutions and the slime to throw right back,” added Dr. Venkman.
