Winny H. Bleekover
“On Sept. 11th, 2012, while at home, My loving mother, Winny Henrieta Keely Bleekover, passed peacefully from Rockford and into the arms of our loving God. She was born in Beloit, WI, and raised on her parents’ farm nearby. In her final hours, when conversation was difficult, she still enjoyed talkin’ crap about grandpa’s cows and hedgehogs, as well as granny’s chickens and her prized hunting pigs. She attended church at Southern Friends Baptist and accepted Jesus Christ as her savior while still a young child. From her modest days as a farm-girl to the golden twilight of her early twenties, she achieved a Bachelor of Arts from Rockford College and wasted it chasing dreams and lollygagging. She is preceded in death by two sons, Mike and Don Bleekover. She is survived by her husband, Randall “Randy” “Rooster” Bleekover; two sons, Clay, Layne; and wives, Janie and Gernie Layne; and wife, Kreestie; a random step-son, Tommy Lee, with his wife Heather; and another step-daughter, Becky Bestie and her husband, Herman with his two sisters, Jammy Obark and Janice Clark. I love you forever mommy. Make Jesus your famous hot cocoa. Your daughter on earth, Janie.”
