Times Theatre finally getting its moment in the sun..
The restoration of the Historic Times Theater is a significant rehab project in the Downtown that will provide many forms of entertainment to the surrounding community.
The near 350 seat auditorium will be a nucleus for entertainment including concerts, plays, movies, and more. Two large ballrooms located on the 2nd and 3rd floor are being renovated and will be used for everything from weddings to seminars.
The complete renovations of the auditorium will be finished by early 2017 “just in time for the train and casino” said Mayor Morrison
A rooftop bar and possible micro micro brewery ideas are also being throw around freely at coffee meetings.
The Broadway extravaganza “Shrek the Musical” will be the first event coming to this exciting venue.
