ROCKFORD, IL – Dollars PLUS™, a national chain of low cost convenience stores, announced that they will be building their next three  locations throughout the Rockford area.  

Paggy Monsoon, public relations representative for Dollars PLUS™, spoke at a press release at Rockford’s City Hall:

We know that this will be a great partnership between our corporation and the community of Rockford, in Illinois.  The land of opportunities and a home to real, original, excellent shopping experiences!  

 

Rockford has all the demographics we’re looking for in an American city:  A depressed housing market, a lack of smart public transportation, high property tax rates, and of course, a huge crime problem.  It’s a match made in Rockford!

“Stores like Dollars PLUS ™ are a great asset to our community and provides an economic bandaid until we replace decades of manufacturing jobs lost to Beloit and Darfur. 

 

We try and attract the Embry-Riddles and the huge corporations but let’s be honest with each other and our neighbors, most of Rockford’s  population isn’t anywhere near smart enough to work at one of those places.  

 

We read the news, we’ve heard the Governor.  ‘EMPLOYERS CAN’T FIND QUALIFIED, EXPERIENCED WORKERS.  ILLINOIS HAS 140 THOUSAND JOBS WE CAN’T FILL BECAUSE PEOPLE AREN’T SMART ENOUGH**!!!
