Rockford, IL – The City’s Public Works Department is hosting a job fair this Saturday at 7am for local job seekers in its basement. Local employers, as well as regional and national and international employers are forecasted to attend, featuring inbound call centers, temporary employment agencies, and things that sound even more depressing. 17 for-profit online colleges will be there to show you how to apply for federal student aid for them. Applicants are advised to bring plenty of résumés, wear comfortable business casual attire, and bring a shovel and a firm handshake. The Public Works Department will open its doors once the parking lot has been cleared.

The TransformRKFD Volunteer Fair will begin at 7:05am in the Department’s parking lot.
