Rockford Riverwalk Bridge To Nowhere Gets Lights, City Streets Still Dark

Rockford, ILFulfilling promises made to light up our downtown night life that our King and Mayor set forth in 2006 with his City of Rockford Riverwalk VISION PLAN, Barry Lawrence Morrison the IIIrd and his 12-1 City Council Henchmen will push forth a plan to light up the multi-million dollar Bridge to Nowhere. Meanwhile, an estimated 16% of Rockford residents, home owners, and their neighbors are waiting to have their street lights turned back on after the City approved the motion to remove 16% of streetlights in late 2011.

True stuff, but whatever. It’s Rockford and we don’t suck, you do.
